A destination at sea

Published

By Dom Galeon

Here’s an idea: Instead of taking a plane to your next #travelgoal, how about taking a ship? Sure, going to a place by boat takes longer, but you’re not going on any ordinary boat. You’re taking a cruise ship–the MS Quantum of the Seas by Royal Caribbean, to be exact–with almost 20 decks (or floors) filled with over a dozen restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops.

A cruise ship like those operated by Royal Caribbean is a floating hotel, a destination at sea, a whole city or town or village adrift on the current. Where you dock is only among the many activities, from skydiving and a surfing simulator to a basketball court and even bumper cars that can keep you delighted on board.
