An epitome of the Filipina beauty, Marian Rivera believes that as a Filipino, it is our duty to wear garments that are crafted by our countrymen.
And that’s what she has presented with her collection in collaboration with Kultura, featuring colorful printed shirts embellished with Filipino iconography.
Uniquely Filipino, Kultura aims to celebrate local craftsmanship by injecting pride in every weave, design, form, and material to create special products that have an identity, embrace tradition, but are still relevant to its time. Its products range from fashion and home decors to souvenirs and local delicacies.
Marian, who has long been an advocate of local products, says that working with Kultura has made her “appreciate Philippine-made products even more.” And through the brand, she is able to propagate the art and the work of local artisans, thus prolonging her role as the sole ambassadress of the brand.
The actress was greatly inspired by the botanical aesthetic, sharing that plants, especially flowers, keep her calm and Zen during and after her pregnancy. Though she is seen as a style icon by many, Marian admits she interprets dressing up differently. “Hindi naman ako fashonista, ‘dun ako sa style na komportable ako at makaka-relate ang bawa’t isa. (I’m not really a fashionista, I just want my style to be comfortable and relatable to others.)”
Diverse, floral, and truly Pinoy are the pieces of the Marian Rivera x Kultura collection. Shaded in different hues, the seven shirt designs are made to suit all kinds of Filipino, with each shirt featuring a floral accent, from tropical-printed shirts bearing an “I Love Manila” embroidery to pastels and solid-colored shirts with pop art designs of jeepneys , coconut trees, and the sun with eight primary rays insignia present in the national flag, making every visual a perfect image of the country’s island culture.

During the collection launch at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, bloggers and social influencers modeled the shirts by putting their own spin to it, matching them with denim and bucket hats for a more streetwear vibe, tulle skirts and dainty vests for a flirty look, and sportswear for that active flair, showcasing the versatility of each piece. “You should be proud of being a Filipino,” Marian declaims. “And one way of showing that is to love and patronize our own merchandise.”
The Marian Rivera x Kultura T-Shirt collection is available at Kultura in SM Makati, Megamall, Mall of Asia, SM Aura Premier, The Podium, SM City Cebu, SM Seaside, SM Lanang Premier, SM City Puerto Princesa, and at most SM Stores. Its boutiques are located at Taal Vista Hotel, Pico de Loro, and the Molo Mansion Iloilo.
