Floral designer Eunice Teo will be in Manila for a one-day flower arranging demonstration to inspire current, emerging, and aspiring Filipino floral designers with “Opulence of Colors.”
If you’ve seen Crazy Rich Asians, you may recognize the rich and elegant elements in the movie, which include the flowers on the set. The flower arrangements in the movie are the works of Malaysian floral designer Eunice Teo, an American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) certified evaluator and judge. As a certified AIFD member, Eunice conducts and organizes floral shows, seminars, and workshops. With more than 20 years of experience, she has conducted various flower arranging demos and workshops in more than 30 countries.
“Opulence of Colors” will be held at the Manila Hotel on Aug. 31. Eunice Teo will conduct a flower arranging demonstration-seminar, showcasing 15 to 20 inspirational design pieces for different floral occasions. The fundamentals of floral design such as tools and materials as well as flower care, elements, and techniques will be discussed. She will be creating different kinds of bouquets, table arrangements, floral art masterpieces to highlight the opulence of flowers.
