The music streaming battle just got more exciting for us listeners.
YouTube’s premier music streaming service YouTube Music is now available for download in the Philippines, competing against the likes of Spotify and Apple Music in delivering music on the go.
YouTube Music was first launched in 2015 alongside YouTube’s streaming subscription service YouTube Red (re-branded as YouTube Premium). YouTube Music allows users to listen to music content on YouTube, which can be ad-free and have background-only streaming as well as downloads for offline playback.
For its Philippine launch, YouTube Music is offering 30 days of its premium subscription for free, with P129/month to follow after the free trial ends—the free subscription is ad-supported and does not support background playback, but skipping and scrubbing is available.
Download YouTube Music on the App Store and Google Play now.
