With almost two decades of beautifying women, In2it has become a cult favorite among Pinays. The cosmetics brand has been helping Filipinas to be at their comfortable best by providing world-class cosmetics using Japanese ingredients and technology with formulations mild enough for Asian skin.
For its 19th anniversary, the beauty brand is treating every kind of woman as they launch the limited-edition Liquid Matte mini collection. It features the 19 best-selling shades of the Liquid Matte that offers a supple finish with moisturizing effect from jojoba oil. “We want to give back to our In2it girls for our 19th anniversary. We’ve decided to create a collection of our 19 best-selling shades of liquid matte,” said Diorella Zapanta, marketing head of Primeline Products, Inc. “We were one of the first brands who introduced liquid matte here in the country.”
Alongside the unveiling of the Liquid Matte mini collection, In2it has introduced its first-ever Filipina ambassadress Yassi Pressman. “In2it’s character as a brand has always been easy beauty every day. Yassi has always exuded that,” says Zapanta. “Her beauty seems effortless yet it shines because of her positive energy and colorful personality. Those were the attributes of an In2it girl.”
Multi-talented actress and uber relatable, Yassi Pressman sits with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle as she shares her experience with makeup and the brand she’s calling “nakalakihan na.”
When did you learn to use makeup?
When I was younger, nung gumawa ako ng mga commercials (when I was still doing commercials), when I do extras, form that point I started to use and learn makeup slowly.
What is your go-to makeup look?
There are days I do play with makeup and there are days I want just to be plain, fresh, and normal. But most of the time I wear that lazy, fresh look. I’m that type of person who loves being just normal.
Do you think it’s vain for women to wear makeup all the time?
No. Every single human being can do whatever they want because it is their bodies and whatever makes them feel good, they’re entitled to it.
How does makeup help women?
It is not just makeup, I think it’s a feeling. Whatever it is that gives you that feeling and makes you happy, whether it’s putting on those heels or going in slippers or putting that red lipstick on is something special and takes time figure out. Whatever makes you feel good from within, I can’t say na there’s one specific thing, because we are all different, you should stick with it. And one thing I find beautiful is a woman who knows what makes her happy.
It’s all about finding that product that will have your back while you’re in the process of figuring things out.
How was it working with In2it?
It’s very light and fun. Even when we did the shoot I remember sobrang taas ng lagnat ko (I had high-grade fever), it think I just came out of the hospital then. Working with them is very easy and it’s very enjoyable. They just let me do whatever to a point that it didn’t really feel like work.
What is about In2it that resonates with many women?
It’s a growing brand that represents lots of women who are also growing—learning what they want. They’re also finding out what makes them happy, what makes them feel good. It’s all about finding that product that will have your back while you’re in the process of figuring things out. In2it keeps on putting out more products that will cater to whatever makes a woman happy.
