Apart from the many food snaps and selfies we see on Instagram, gym selfies are among the many things we rampantly see on social media. Everyone likely got the fitness bug from the moment the ’80s neon tinted ensembles came back and color-blocked windbreakers—atheleisure in layman’s term—became popular. Good thing Filipino clothing brand Bench is here to give a dose of style to every fitness fanatic’s trip to the gym.
Bench Active, Bench’s activewear section, opened its 230 sqm. standalone store at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. Dedicated to pushing Filipinos to outrun their bests, the first-ever Bench Active store is complete with all fitness essentials, from side-striped tights and geometric-designed hoodies to cool water bottles and comfy running shoes, all under neon marquees, redefining style and performance.
Present during the launch were Bench ambassadors Teresita Sen Marquez, Max Collins, Pancho Magno, Dominic Roque, and Ms. World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, to name a few. Leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Suyen Corporation Vice President for Business Development Bryan Lim and SM Supermalls COO Steven Tan.
Let’s get physical and energize your gym OOTDs with pieces from Bench Active.
