You read it right. You now have the chance to “date” Noah Centineo the weekend after Valentine’s day.
After teasing Filipino netizens with cryptic clues on social media the past couple of days, local fashion brand Bench officially announced that Noah Centineo will be coming to the Philippines on Feb. 16, 2020.
“It’s a date! Can’t believe we’re finally meeting our internet boyfriend @ncentineo. Mark your calendars y’all and keep your eyes glued on all our official social media accounts for more deets.”
It was February of last year that Bench announced him as the latest Bench endorser and #GlobalBENCHsetter. It seems like Centineo is getting pretty serious with the Philippines, taking up two Valentine’s Day weekends in a row. (Should we pencil him in for next year as well? We really don’t mind.)
The 23-year-old actor rose to prominence after he played Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix original film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Based on the bestselling young adult novel of the same name by Jenny Han, he played the love interest of Lara Jean (Lana Condor), a Korean-American high school student. Not only was the film a hit and Internet sensation, it was a step forward in promoting diversity and representation uncommon in teen films.
He has also played the romantic leads in the Netflix teen films Sierra Burgess Is a Loser and The Perfect Date, has had a supporting role in the latest Charlie’s Angels film, and, by the power of Greyskull, it has been confirmed that he will be playing the iconic role of He-Man in a Masters of the Universe reboot.
Make a whole week out of it, as Centineo will be reprising his role as Peter Kavinsky in the TATB sequel, To All the Boys: P.S. I Love You, scheduled to be released on Feb. 12, 2020 on Netflix. The second sequel has already finished filming and is currently in post-production.
Earlier this morning, the popular media provider also announced that they are bringing the show’s stars Condor and Centineo at the Activity Center 2 Glorietta Ayala Ave., Makati, on Feb. 15, 2020. Meanwhile, details of the Bench event have yet to be revealed.
While we all patiently wait for Centineo to return to our screens, we leave you with the image of Noah/Peter with flowers at your doorstep:
