Help Mak Tumang raise funds for PPE donations to frontliners

Updated

By JOHN LEGASPI

Known for his dresses worn by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, fashion designer Mak Tumang is calling for help in raising funds as he and his friends are ordering personal protective equipment (PPE). These suits will be coming from China and will be donated to government hospitals.

It’s no secret that these suits and masks are essentials to keep our health workers from getting infected by the virus. But as the number of Covid-19 cases in the Philippines continue to rise, the supply of PPEs is becoming scarce.

Hello!!! My friends and I will be ordering Personal Protective Equipments for the use of our health workers. These suits will be donated to government hospitals whose doctors and staff are most in need. Each suit, which is crucial for protecting our health workers against COVID19, costs roughly P506 Pesos only. The goal is to order 40,000 sets. So far, we have raised enough for 20,000 suits but need help collecting donations for the remaining 20,000. In line with this, we would like to sincerely ask your kind heart to donate any amount that you can to help purchase the PPE. This is a great opportunity to help (and continue helping) if you haven’t already. Please let me know if you would like to donate. You may send your donations on the bank account below. Kindly send me a screenshot via messenger of the amount donated so as to properly account donors: Please feel free to share this post. Thank you in advance for your generous donations. Stay safe and God bless!!!
